Control Chromecast with Google TV from Smartphone

Before proceeding further, ensure that the Smartphone and Google TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

(1). Download and install the Android TV Remote app on your smartphone.

(2). Select Accept & Continue on the Welcome page and click Continue on the next screen.

(3). Choose the Google TV from the displayed available devices.

(4). A code appears on the Google TV screen to pair.

(5). Enter the code in the smartphone and tap Pair to connect.

(6). Use the DPad to move the apps or scroll the options.

(7). Select the Back, Home, and Play/ Pause button at the bottom as required.

(8). Tap the Mic icon and give voice commands to control the TV.

(9). Click the Keyboard icon at the top right corner and type the desired text easily.
